These round containers enable water collectors to roll liquid from wells rather than carry it on their heads. It can hold up to five times more water than a single bucket.

Women and girls have better things to do with their time, such as work and education. The Water Wheel can carry five times more water than a pail, meaning children no longer need to be involved in carrying water. Imagine a young girl having to carry the weight of a standard airline bag (sometimes two at a time) on her head, for hours? It's unfair.

During the event, people enjoyed Alexis Kings, tractor rides, fresh local fruit, and the eco-friendly celebration of Holi. Smaller children from the village were also given gifts and ice cream during the event.
